Another science fiction series that can stir your thoughts is ‘Dark’, created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese. Set in Germany, this series revolves around the concept of time travel. It ran for three seasons from 2017 to 2020. In the aftermath of a child's disappearance, the series follows the characters from the fictional German town of Winden as they pursue the truth. 3. Sense 8

Do you believe in telepathy or sharing unknown connections with strangers? Then, this series is all you would want. Eight people worldwide feel connected with their minds linked to one another, which forms the base of the series. Getting to know each other's secrets, thoughts, and actions, puts them into terrible danger. Starring Tuppence Middleton, Brian J. Smith and Bae Doona, the creators of Sense 8 namely Lilly Wachowski, Lana Wachowski and J. Michael Straczynski have much more in store for you.

4. Travelers

Starring Eric McCormack, MacKenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper and Brad Wright, ‘Travelers’ will take you several years ahead in time. It revolves around a few last existing humans who realise that they can send their consciousness to the 21st century back through time. The series was an international co-production between the streaming service Netflix and the Canadian speciality channel Showcase for its first two seasons, after which Netflix took over as its sole production company and exclusive worldwide distributor.

5. The Umbrella Academy

Based on Gerard Way's Eisner-winning comic, ‘The Umbrella Academy’ is another nerve-wracking sci-fi series that is available on Netflix. Incredible powers and shocking family secrets boggle a person’s mind from the two seasons of this show. Starring Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda and Steve Blackman, this series is a must-watch.

6. Stranger Things

The disappearance of a young boy gives rise to strange things in Hawkins, Indiana. This web series of Netflix unveils mysteries, supernatural forces, and a bizarre little girl. Created by the Duffer Brothers, this series also contains horror, thrill, and drama. Starring Winona Ryder, David Harbour and Finn Wolfhard, this series is an interesting one to watch.

7. Altered Carbon

To witness how this world would look in the future, you should give this series a shot. Created by Laeta Kalogridis, it gives you a ride to the future where consciousness is digitised and stored. Takeshi Kovacs, a prisoner who finds life in a new body, must solve a murder mystery to get freedom. Will he get back his freedom? To know all about it, you must watch ‘Altered Carbon’ starring Anthony Mackie, Lela Loren and Simone Missick.

8. Star Trek

The next generation series, ‘Star Trek (1966)’, is about the new generation of Starfleet officers who set off in the U.S.S. Enterprise-D for Captain Kirk's five-year mission after almost 100 years. Traveling out to different planets under the command of Captain Jean-Luc, they explore new lives and places. Created by Gene Roddenberry, it has seven seasons.

9. The Innocents

Are you looking for a series with both love and science fiction? Here it is. ‘The Innocents’ is a story of teen lovers, Harry and June, who run away from their families. Julie discovers that she can shape-shift. Created by Hania Elkington and Simon Duric, it has only one season.

10. Lost In Space

If you are into adventures, don't mind watching this series. Full of challenges on a foreign planet, the Robinsons face all of them to survive after a crash landing.
