Sri Durga

Sri Durga or better known as Durga is a Tamil television actress who started acting since her childhood. Durga became famous for appearing in most of the tele-serials broadcasted in the entire regional TV channels. Durga currently lives with her parents and her two sisters. She has basic interest in music and photography. She mostly does heart-breaking roles rather than comedic roles. In 2013, she appeared in Tamil romantic-drama film, Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer as Karthik’s sister, under the direction of Suseenthiran.

Television serial fanatics can watch her mostly in sensitive crying roles. Her face is very famous for doing teleserials like Uravugal by A.V. Babu in 1984, Thiyagam and Mundhanai Mudichu on Sun TV channel. Durga usually do emotional roles though she likes to have fun while shooting and on-screen. She started acting on her early age and as a model for the past ten years. She was also part of a religious show on Captain TV.

Durga was also part of the teleserials on Sun TV channel such as Sigaram and Alaigal. She also did the serial, Oonjal where she played as Kavitha. These three serials are quite significant to Durga especially her role in Oonjal where she mends another person’s life even if her own life was full of faults and sins. Durga wants to do characters that will remain on the minds of the viewers for a long time. She also regrets that she didn’t have the chance to do funny roles.

Besides acting, she also loves to sing and dance. She has learned music when she was a child and her hobby was photography. Her primary goal is to have her own music school. Durga once appeared on Celebrity Kitchen with Shanti Williams.
