Sadna Shankar

Sadna Shankar is a television actor, dancer, and model based in Tamil Nadu. She predominantly works in the Tamil film and television industry. Her father’s name is R Sankar and her mother’s name is Malathi Sankar. She was born and brought up in Mumbai where she also completed her schooling. She holds a Diploma in Mass Communication and e-commerce. She has also done a Master’s in Criminology & Forensic Science. Sadna has been interested in learning Kathak dance since childhood. She learned classical dance from her mother when she was just three years old.

She used to participate in dance competitions during her school days. Although her father is an advocate by profession, he was engaged in cultural activities as well. He is the founder secretary of Guruguhaana Sabha which organized many dramas, theatre shows, and Carnatic musical shows. One day, Sadna was brought up on the stage, when she was just three months old by the famous veteran actor and director R S Manohar in his celebrated drama called Vishwamithra to play the role of a newly born infant named Shakunthala. When Sadna was in 5^th standard, she started acting in some Bollywood movies and Commercials. When she grew up, she also decided to learn western Kathak and other dances more professionally.

Throughout her career, Sadna has worked in different areas of the entertainment industry including acting, editing, dancing, etc. She has even worked as a reporter to interview people belonging to various professions such as film personalities, doctors, businessmen, politicians, scientists, IPS officers, NGO workers, etc. She has also interviewed audiences and the public to record their reviews and responses about films and TV shows.
