Yuvanraj Nethran

Nethran is a multi-talented personality in the Tamil television industry. He is a stand-up Comedian, and also a talented actor. Nethran has appeared in a number of Tamil television serials mainly in strong supportive character role sometimes in roles with a comic touch. Born and brought up in a small town in Tamil Nadu, he moved to the big city Chennai to pursue his career as an actor.

Nethran began his acting career as a Tamil theater artist and later joined a comedy troupe and performed there as a Stand Up Click to look into! >> Read More... comedian. He has an unbelievable comic timing and a certain sense of humor which makes him stand out in the crowd. Eventually, he landed up getting acting offers from the Tamil tele town. Nethran has showcased his acting skills in many serials but among them was the popular and hit serial Sathi Leelavathi- a typical masala family daily drama soap.

Nethran then went on to appear as a celebrity guest chef in the popular cookery show aired on Sun TV “ Celebrity Kitchen Celebrity Kitchen is a cookery show where a female >> Read More... ”. Recently he became the guest celebrity judge and also a co -host of the newly launched popular cookery show aired on Vijay TV- “Kitchen Superstars”. It’s not known to everybody that, Nethran is an excellent cook until he appeared in the cookery shows. He is a trained singer and dancer apart from being an actor. He also participated in the popular Tamil dance reality show Jodi no.1 as a contestant and became very popular.

Though he was eliminated in the early rounds of the competition, he attracted the audience’s towards him with his comic mic skills and was given the chance to host the next season of the show.

In July 2024, Nethran’s daughter, Abenaya revealed in public that he had liver cancer and had been getting treatment. On 3^rd December 2024, Nethran died at a private hospital.
