Super Subbarayan

Super Subbarayan is an Indian actor and an action choreographer/ stunt master in the Tamil film industry. He was born P. Subbarayan in Tamil Nadu. He started his career as an extra fighter in the year 1980 with I.V. Sasi’s bilingual film, Kaali; followed by the 1983 Tamil film, Thoongathey Thambi Thoongathey. Super has been in the industry for more than two decades and has worked with several leading actors in Kollywood. Initially, he wanted to become a teacher, but it did not happen. His passion for martial arts led him to enter the tinsel town.

Now, he has worked in over 100 films in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada. Some of the films he worked on include Manaivi Solle Manthiram, January 1, 24 Mani Neram, Chain Jayapal, Vikram, Vasantha Raagam, Poonthotta Kaavalkaaran, Urimai Geetham, Thaai Naadu, Anjali, Avasara Police 100, Kattalai, I Love India, Indhu, V.I. He also donned several guest performances as an actor from the year 1983 to date.

His most recent appearance was from R.B. Choudhary’s 2017 action drama film, Kadamban. Prior to this, he played as a villain to actor Karthi in the 2015 Tamil action drama film, Komban.
