Shravan

Shravan, aka Shravan R Prathap, is a versatile and talented singer and a musician who performs in a variety of genres, including Carnatic, Devotional, Fusion, bhajan, and Film songs. He is a playback singer. On December 15, 1995, he was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is fluent in Tamil, English, and Hindi. He grew up in a joint family. He graduated from Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School in NGM, where he was the School Topper in the Commerce Stream. He did his B.Com from Loyola College in Chennai. He's a playback singer and an emerging composer.

In Indian Idol season 9, he was one of the top eight candidates. Because of his enchanting voice, he has captured the hearts of the crowd. He has a massive social media presence. Shravan began learning Carnatic vocals at the age of four from Srimushnam V. Raja Rao and Smt. Padma Sandilyan. He is currently undergoing extensive training from Guru Sri. Mr. Sunderarajan (Delhi). He has also received numerous honors, including the Madurai Mani Iyer Award, Most Outstanding Performer, Yuva Kala Bharathi Award (2016), Gandharva Gana Sundaram Star of the Series Award, and "Star Of the Series." His grandma was the one who discovered the talent in Shravan when he was a child.

Shravan made his debut in Rekka Katti in Pasakara Nanbargal (2011). He sang in the 2015 Tollywood comedy and drama film Dhee Ante Dhee, 2013 in a Telugu action and romantic drama named Alias Janaki, 2012 in a Telugu comedy show Cinemakeldam Randi. He has performed in concerts like Margazhi Season Carnatic Concerts (2017-18), Oru Paanai, which is a charitable organization (this concert was a part of his UK Tour, 2020 in Coventry). He has even done online concerts in Book my show in Madras Swara Matrix, Carnatic Music Festival (2020).

He has done LIVE performances on online platforms like Facebook and YouTube. He has performed in Singapore (Serangoon Srinivasa Temple and Veerama kaali Amman Koil), Australia, London, Dubai, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Japan, etc. He has always been passionate about Singing and cooking. Both of them appear to be sophisticated arts to him. Shravan and his grandma (Shantha) started a YouTube channel. This channel was made to preserve the recipes his grandma had learned as a child. Shantha Paati Samayal is their YouTube channel name, where Shravan organizes, records, and edits the videos. For his grandmother's videos, he sings popular religious songs, blending the music with her cuisine. Shravan also has his own YouTube channel.
