Kalpana is an Indian Playback singer who is professionally a Carnatic music singer also. She is also a songwriter and actor in Malayalam and Telugu languages. She was born on May 8, 1977, in Chennai Tamil Nadu, India. She started the singing from the age of five and with her voice; she started the playback singing for Tamil and Malayalam songs. Until now she did with the 1500 tracks and done the shows around 3000 in India and worldwide. Kalpana was born and brought up in the musical family. Her father name is T. S. Raghavendra, who is also a reputed singer, composer, and director. Inspire of this her mother Sulochana, is a singer. Her younger sister Prasanna Raghavendra is also famous in the field of opera singing. Her stage name is Shekinah Shawn.

Kalpana is a classical singer who trained under the supervision of Madurai T. Srinivasan. She completed her degree in the Master of Computer Application and pursuing the Mater of Philosophy. Kalpana also works for the television. She started her career in 1991 from the song "Poda Poda Pinnaku" that is from the film En Rasavin Manasile in the Tamil language. She did her first vocal for a family song with the P. Susheela, Mano, and M. M. Srilekha and her younger sister Prasanna Raghavendar. She started her career as the playback singer in the year 1999 with her voice for Mangalagouriki from the Telugu film Manoharam under the director of Mani Sharma. She also on the great work with the legendary composers named mentioned as A. R. Rahman, K. V. Mahadevan, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, K. S. Chithra, and Ilaiyaraaja.

In the year 2010, Kalpana won the title of Star Singer 2010 (season 5) for the Malayalam TV channel Asia net in the names as ‘Star Singer.’ In the year 2017, Kalpana recited on the 11th position in the channel Star Maa and for the show named as Bigg Boss Telugu (Season 1). Kalpana also won the Nandi award for the category of Best Playback singer Female for the song ‘Navamoorthulainatti'. Kalpana is the star performer for her all the time career.

Sunder Narayana Rao was born on 30th January and was bought up in Tamil Nadu, India. He is a singer by profession. He started his career in the year 2013. His genres are Indian, Afghani, Pakistani classical music, Thumri, Sufi, Tappa, Natya Sangeet, Qawwali, etc. He was put into the field of music at a very small age by his family. During his engineering graduation days, he heard singer Amir Khan’s music cassette. At that point of time, he recognized his inclination towards music and wanted to make singing as is professional career mainly “Hindustani Classical Music.” After this realization, his professional training deepened, and he went to the United States to learn from “Pandit Madhav Bhatki” from “Gwalior Gharana,” (New Jersey) Meanwhile, he learned from many other people. When Pandit Madhav Bhati recognized his talent and potential, he made him practice rigorously for 10-12 hrs. in a day. His curiosity to explore more forms of classical music made him learn the classical music of other countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan. He also learnt many forms of semi classical music and various Indian Subgenres while he was in the USA. He returned to India in the year 2006, but while he was in the U.S., he never sat idle and used to work with local music producers and composers and used to sing and give music in different languages. He also used to give sound track in various music forms film and non-film content. And when he came back to India in early 2006, he started exploring “North Indian Classical Music” to make it his mainstream capacity. With the help of some of his friends, he started making contacts with many music directors, producers, and composers and also took appointments to meet them so that he could show his work to them. Then after some time, he grabbed the attention of South-Indian film director Ghibran who recognized his diversified talent in singing and music and made him work in his movies like “Vathikuchi” in which he worked with the songs like “Kuru Kuru” and “Kanna Kanna.” The two songs were a major hit which gave him the much-needed break and paved his way in the South-Indian Music Industry. After that in the same year, he sang in the movies like “Katti Puli,” “Praanam Kosam,” “Naiyaandi” and “Thiruminum Ennum Nikkah.” In the year 2014, he sang for the movie named “Amarakaaviyam” and then consecutively in the year 2015 for the movie “Papanasam.” His latest work is for the movie “Kadugu” released in the year 2017.
