Santosh Hariharan is an Indian playback singer and has been a contestant of singing reality shows. He was born on 5 September 1987 and is 29 years old presently. He was born and brought up in Chennai, India. His hometown is in Palghat. He started his schooling from Chimaya Vidyalaya, Hyderabad and went to St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Cuddalore to complete his 10+2 education. Santosh pursued Biotechnology from SRM University of Ramapuram, Chennai. He is an alumnus of Soundtech Media Institute of Audio Technology. He shifted to Mumbai after his musical career started attaining success. The languages spoken by him are Tamil, Telugu, Kanadda and, English.
Before participating in the reality show, 'Indian Idol Season 9', he was already a playback singer in the Tamil Film Industry. He cleared the audition round of India Idol by impressing the judges Farah Khan and Sonu Nigam and was expected to reach till the top 5. This could not happen due to his early eliminations and huge competition. In 2012, he appeared in a Tamil singing reality show 'Airtel Super Singer' on Vijay TV. During the second season of the show, Santosh could not qualify and was out of the show at an early stage due to lack of exposure and practice of Indian Classical music. He got eliminated by the judges in the third season again, but his passion for music was quite high this time and he came back with the help of wild card entry in the show.
Finally he was crowned for securing the place of first runner up in the grand finale and was rewarded with a car from sponsors of the show. The Due to his participation in reality shows, he was offered a song in a Tamil film by D. Imman. The song was 'Oorana Oorukkulle' from the movie 'Manam Kothi Paravai' (2012) which turned out to be a big hit at that time Santosh attained lots of fame. People started recognizing his bold but soothing voice and he started getting a large number of singing offers. He has sung total 12 songs in 10 movies. His debut film was Jilla in Tamil. His other movies include Sattam Oru Iruttarai (2012), Jilla (2014), Rummy (2014), Saattai (2012), Naan Rajavaga Pogiren (2013), Manam Kothi Paravai (2012) and so on.

Santosh Hariharan is the artist who performed at an event Rhapsody- Celebrating for a cause. His recent movie is Madha Gaja Raja (2017). He has over one million followers on Facebook with a very high popularity for his bold, enthusiastic, and soulful voice. He has a unique kind of touch in his voice which makes his songs more beautiful and touching. Padmalatha Ramanand is a South Indian playback singer. She was born on 15th of August in the southern metropolitan city, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She has sung over 500 songs for more than 150 films that include her work in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and Tulu. Apart from the songs, Padmalatha also takes interest in gingles, devotionals, and albums.
Her talent has fetched her many awards including President’s gold medal in All India Radio Music Competition. Some of her songs were also remarked by, BBC Asian network, in its top songs list. Padmalatha was born and brought up in Chennai. She did her schooling from GRT Mahalakshmi Vidyalaya and later graduated from University of Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Her first stage performance was at the age of just 5. She performed then, with her mother standing beside her. She is well trained in the Carnatic, Hindustani and western vocal. She has done two grades in piano. Padmalatha Ramanand had to face years of struggle before the South Indian music industry, recognized her talent. But later she has proved her versatility by singing songs in six different languages and by singing the same song in different styles. Her first ever song was ‘Kuruvama,’which was a duet with Harish Raghavendra and was released back in 2006.
However, she got her first hit song after years of her debut into the industry. It was in 2016 when her song ‘Kannala Kannala’ from the movie ‘Thani Oruvan’ was released. ‘Kadhale Kadhale’from the movie ‘Indru Nettu’is her another great work in Tamil. She has sung many top rated songs for the popular South Indian music industry’s composer, ‘Ghibran.’ She recorded this song in different styles, which was later patched to become a great piece of music. In the next few years, her songs ‘ChoosaChoosa,’ ‘Chali gaali’ and ‘Ghandhaari yaaro’ became blockbuster hits in Telugu cinema.
This brought her some more big project. Her song ‘inayae’from movie ‘Thadam’ got into the top songs list of BBC Asian network. In the field of music, Padmalatha has successfully grabbed many achievements for herself. She has been recognized by All India Radio as an A-grade artist.
She has also received Mirchi music award in Telugu in 2017 at Hyderabad for the song ‘Chali gaali’ from the Telugu movie ‘Gentleman’ which was released in 2016 and was a huge hit.
