Jagadeesh Kumar

Jagadeesh Kumar is an Indian Playback singer from Chennai. He started his singing career as a light music singer at the age of sixteen. Jagadeesh holds a post-graduate degree in Visual Communications and Media Arts from Loyola College, Chennai. After his graduation, he decided to concentrate on his music skills and started his course in Opera and Carnatic music from K M Music Conservatory, Chennai. He has also studied Music Theory from Royal School of Music, Chennai.

The first recognized work of Jagadeesh is Kelu Maganae Kelu from the movie Sonnar Puriyadhu and it gave a big break for the young singer. Another song that became a turning point in his life is Sillata Pillata from the movie Kanchana 2. Apart from movies, Jagadeesh has sung for many advertisements and short films and has also worked as a VJ as well as an RJ. Jagadeesh Kumar was nominated for Edison Award 2015 and has also bagged the Studio One Star Icon Award for Best Debut Singer
