Meera Krishna is one of the most familiar faces of Malayali households. This talented actress hails from Kottayam in Kerala. She did her schooling in Kottayam and got graduated from the famous BCM college, Kottayam affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University. She is currently settled in Chennai with her husband and two kids. Meera started off her career as an actor by playing an important role in the 2003 film 'Margam' directed by Rajiv Vijay Raghavan. The film bagged seven major Kerala State Awards and was also recognized at national and international level adding more awards to its kit. Her role as Prakruthi, the protagonist's daughter was widely appreciated and mentioned for her performance even though being a debutant.

Her role in the critically acclaimed film 'Manjupoloru Penkutty' was liked by all. She started her small screen presence with the popular Malayalam channel Surya TV. Since then she is a common and familiar face among the viewers of the small screen. In September 2009, Meera got married to the famous action choreographer Siva (also known as Stun Shiva) who is popular for his works in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi film industries. They are blessed with two boys. She tried her luck in the Telugu movie industry by acting in the action- entertainment film 'Prema Rajyam' in 2010 under the direction of Moolapati.

Meera's popularity grew with her role as the lead or at times as supporting actress in many hit serials.
