Sarah Jane Dias is an Indian actress, model, musician and a former beauty queen who was born on 3rd December, 1983 in Muscat, Oman. Her parents are Eustace Dias and Yolanda Dias. Her sister is Elena-Rose Dias. Her father was a marketing manager of a leading oilfield supply centre in Muscat. Sarah is 5ft 10in in height. She started her primary education at Al Wadi Al Kabir Indian School till grade 11 and then she studied at Indian School of Muscat for another two years. While her stay in Oman, in 1997, she won the Miss India Oman title. Sarah has been just 14 years old when she won the title. After completing school, she came back to India. She completed her higher studies from Mithibai College, Mumbai and St. Andrews College, Bandra. Sarah Jane did not intend to start her career in cinema or television. However, she was discovered and introduced to the television by Suresh Natarajan. Suresh is a leading fashion photographer in India and he offered her to join him and work with one of his campaigns. Later, Sarah could win the Talent Hunt reality TV show. As a result, she got the chance to host a TV show named “Get Gorgeous” at the age of 21. Get Gorgeous was a Channel V super model hunting TV show. After three years, Sarah got the opportunity of appearing in an international music video “Never Let You Go” by INXS. In the year 2007, she won the Femina Miss India World title at the age of 24 and represented India at Miss World 2007 pageant. In the year 2010, she began her journey in Bollywood cinema with Tamil movie “” by . Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai is a romantic comedy movie and Sarah played the role of Priya. During the film shoot, Sarah got the opportunity of working closely with Kollywood superstars such as . The film was based on the Telugu film “”. However, the film opened with positive responses and was a box office success. Later, in 2011, she appeared in a Telugu movie, “Panjaa”. In Panjaa, Sarah played the role of Sandhya. Sandhya is an environmentalist and tree lover who fell in love with Jaidev. Tollywood star played the role of Jaidev. Both Pawan and Sarah received good reviews for their contribution to the success of the film. Sarah’s first Hindi movie is “Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum”.
