Nandhini JS

Nandhini JS completed her Bachelor of Business Administration at Asan Memorial College of Arts and Science from 1997 to 2000. After that, she did an MDBA in Marketing at Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning from 2000-03. She did DFT in Direction and Screenwriting at the Film and TV Institute of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, from 2000-03. Nandhini JS has been associated with Make Believe Productions as a Managing Partner since October 2010. She won the Tamil Nadu State Award as Best Director and the State Award for Best Editing for her student short film Ottam, based on the concept of domestic violence.

She has worked as a writer and director of the Tamil Romantic Comedy film Thiru Thiru, Thuru Thuru, produced by Satyam Cinemas and Real Image Media Technologies from June 2008 to September 2009. She has worked as a Creator and Writer of a digital graphic novel, Sivappu Kal Mookuthi Click to look into! >> Read More... . It is also available in an English version titled Girl with a Red Nose Ring from 2014-15. Sivappu Kal Mookuthi was the first digital comic book in Tamil self-published by Nandhini JS. She has also worked as a Writer and Director in the web series Nila Nila Odi Vaa, a Tamil Vampire web series translated as Dear Moon Rush To Me in English, from December 2017 to September 2018, produced by Viu India and Make Believe Productions. She has also worked in Ad films as a director, like Freeze Your Pain, Bring Back Your Smile, and Boxer. She has also worked as an actress in the short Sleepless Eyes (2017) as the character of a psychiatrist.
