Anand Maiyur Srinivas, an Australian-based finance consultant, later opted for short filmmaking. When Anand was staying in Sydney, he got fascinated by human behaviors, and that’s how he decided to become a storyteller. It took him eight years to become a storyteller. It took him five years to learn about scriptwriting and filmmaking in a very professional manner. He attended many scriptwriting courses, workshops, and seminars while staying in Sydney and Melbourne. He acquired skills in script writing from story gurus like Robert Mckee, John Trueby, and Chris Huntley. He made three short films before making movies. Anand Maiyur Srinivas, first debut feature film was Mithivedi. The film was released on the 20th of April 2012. The main agenda behind this movie was to portray the side effects of war and how destructive this can be for normal civilians.
