Nambirajan is a film director from India. He has worked predominantly on Tamil films. Nambirajan made his debut as a director in the 1980s. Nambirajan also worked in Nila, featuring Jayaram in the lead role, released in the year 1994, and Chandralekha, where he worked with Vijay, released in the year 1995. His famous artwork includes Udhayamagirathu (1981), Manjal Nila (1982), Kunguma Pottu (1982), Anbe Odi Vaa (1984) and Ungalil Oruvan (1985). In the late 1990s, he launched two films, working as a director and actor in Getti Melam and then Rukkumani.
To your surprise, neither of the films was released, even after launching the former audio. Nambirajan changed his name to MGR Nambi and worked on producing and directing a new project titled Poruthiru for his new production house, MGR Studios. Nambirajan also started his recording studio in Saligramam for films to facilitate and complete post-production work. In addition to that, he launched another project titled Kaala Bhairavi, a multilingual film. Nambirajan's noteworthy films include Murungakkai, released in the year 2023, and Chandralekha, released in the year 1995.
