Athiyan Athirai is a well-known and popular director and filmmaker. Athirai is known for his significant contributions to the Tamil film industry. He was born in a village named Siruvayalam in the Villupuram district. Athirai has done his post-graduation in Tamil literature. AthiyanAthirai is amongst those people who has turned their fortune from rags to riches. Before landing in the film industry, he worked in a scrap shop where he worked as a supervisor in 2011. His journey is very inspiring for many people. He has also worked as a 2 D compositor too. Athirai has worked as an assistant director for films like Kabali and Madras. Around the year 2008, he entered the industry and worked as an assistant director.

Athirai made his debut as a filmmaker with the film titled Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu, which means The Last Bomb of the Second World War. He experimented in this movie and aimed to deliver a strong message. Athirai is one of the directors carrying immense potential. He would surely create milestones.
