Parvathi Ravi Ghantasala is a dance performer, teacher, and choreographer. She is the daughter-in-law of famous singer Padmashree Ghatasala Ventakteswar Rao. She started at a young age by enrolling herself in Bharatnatyam. She was trained under Veteran Guru Kalaimani Smt. Krishnamurthy Narendran and she has her Arangettam in 1978. People get to see aesthetic, sensibility, and spiritual depth in her performances. She has performed in several prestigious Sabhas and Festival all over the country like Music Academy, Krishna Gana Sabha, Naradha Gana Sabha, Bharath Kalanchar, Indian Fine Art, Doon Festival, World Tamil Conferences, and many places abroad. She is an A-graded artist in Doordarshan. She has also received many titles like the prestigious ‘Kalaimamani’ award from the Tamil Nadu Government.
