In 2009, Haresh started his career as a Digital Executive at the Singapore Airlines, where he was responsible for the strategic development and performance analysis of Singapore Airlines' global e-Commerce efforts, involving working closely with SIA's 40+ offices around the world. Later, he joined Scoot Airlines and worked as a Specialist in Marketing, social media, and Public Relations. In 2013, he was promoted to the position of Head of eCommerce & Distribution in the same airline company. Earlier, Haresh used to produce videos as a hobby in 2011 with MOF Co-founder Terence Chia.

In 2014, their video ‘Sexiest School Uniform Pick-Up Lines’ went viral, proving to them that he has the potential humor that can resonate with the masses. Therefore, he began his journey as the Executive Producer, Writer, and Director with Mediacorp Pte Ltd., in 2015, where he produced 12 videos for a groundbreaking TV series called ‘TUBE,’ featuring Singaporean YouTubers.

Haresh tried his luck in acting in 2016 when he was cast as the lead actor in ‘SeNT,’ HBO’s first-ever comedy series in Asia. He himself developed the full series with lead writers from Hollywood and oversaw the scripting process. He also worked as the Associate Producer to support camera and editing teams during production. Haresh then continued producing TV series and in 2019, he co-created, co-wrote & starred in "She's a Terrorist & I Love Her,” an 8-episode dark comedy TV series that received critical acclaim in Singapore and abroad.

At the same time, Haresh never gave up comedy and in 2014, he co-founded, ‘The Ministry of Funny’ (MOF), which features short videos highlighting issues like racism and food waste through a funny lens. Till date, his videos have been viewed more than 26 million times all around the world. In 2022, he also started his podcast channel ‘Folklory’ to share intimate short stories. Besides, Haresh Won “Best Comedy Program” at the 2020 Asian Academy Creative Awards and “Best Original Program by a Streamer/ OTT” at the 2019 Asian Academy Creative Awards for his show ‘SeNT.’
