S. S. Chandran, an Indian comedian and politician from Tamil Nadu was born on September 25, 1941. He was a member of parliament for Tamil Nadu in the Rajya Sabha, the upper chamber of the Indian Parliament, and he belonged to the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party. Rohit, his son, appeared in Oru Murai Sollividu (2004). In his acting career, he has appeared in more than 700 motion pictures since he began performing at the age of 15. He started his acting career in plays produced in and around Tamil Nadu before moving to Sri Lanka. Sahadevan Mahadevan, Thangamani Rangamani, Paati Sollai Thattathey, and Kathanayagan are a few of his better-known movies. Chandran also produced four films.
