Lakshmi Saravana Kumar is a Tamil writer. He has written three novels and thirty + short stories. He was born in Madurai, Tamilnadu. Lakshmi Saravana Kumar was an athlete. He studied B.A Literature in Madurai. He is widely famous through his short film “Mayana Gaandam.” He won Sakithya Academy Award, “Yuva Puraskar” for his novel “Gaanagan”.
He also won the “Sujatha Memorial Award” for his fiction named “Uppu Naigal” in 2012. His books are, ”Neela Nathi”, ”Yakkai” in 2010, “Vasundhara Enum Neela Vanna Paravai “ in 2011, “Macham” in 2013 and a Poem named ”Moglieyai tholaitha Siruthai” in 2014. During the Jallikattu protest, he returned his National Award to the central government and showed his opposition. Now, he works as an assistant director to director Vasantha Barathan. He was one of the scriptwriters of the film “Indian 2”. He also worked in the movie named Pon Magal Vandhaal.
