Actress Pushpalatha

Pushpalatha was an actress cum producer in the Indian film industry. She was born in 1938 in Mettupalayam, near Coimbatore. Pushpalatha’s father was a brass and silver seller. Pushpalatha was born with seven siblings. She started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of 9. Pushpalatha debuted in the film industry in 1955 with a small role in the film Nalla Thangal, featuring MN Nambiar. She was married to actor AVM Rajan A V M RAJAN was born on 26 July, 1935 at Pudukkott >> Read More... and had two children. One of her children is Actress Mahalakshmi.

In 1955, she debuted in Telugu with Cherapakura Chedevu. In 1961, she landed a full-length role in Konga Nattu Thangam. Pushpalatha played the titular role of Thangam. From 1961 to 1962, she played in a lot of films, including Panam Panthiyile, Sarada, Sengamala Theevu, Policekaran Magal, Aalayamani, and Kavitha.
