Sridevi is an Indian an actress renowned for her work in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada movies. She is regarded as Hindi cinema’s first female superstar. She was born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan on August 13, 1963, in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu to Ayappan and Rajeshwari. Her father is a Tamilian and mother is a Telegite. Sridevi made her debut as child artist at the tender age of four with the devotional film Thunaivan. She made her debut in Bollywood in 1975 with the film Julie where she was a child actor.
