R.Sreekandan Nair

R. Sreekandan Nair can be easily named as the first superstar of Malayalam television. R. Sreekandan Nair was not only the TV presenter but also the scriptwriter and content producer of many shows in various Kerala TV channels. He took the leadership of the event management division of Asianet and made it a profit making company. We all believe that this dream was a seed planted by R. Sreekandan Nair, who just made headlines nationally to make Asianet Channel a Rs 300 crore company. Later, of course, STAR Group took over the Asianet channel. Soon, another new TV channel surfaced in the hearts of Kerala state and Malayala Manorama prepared for its launch in October 2011, and he was engaged as a consultant to the Entertainment Television operations of the channel.
