Kottayam Pradeep or Krishnettan, as he is popularly known, is a serial actor who hails from Kottayam, Kerala. He got educated from Manarcaud St.Mary’s College. He associated himself with several drama troupes along with his studies. He won the Asianet Television Award, 2014 as the Best Actor in a Character Role, for playing the character Krishnan in “Parasparam”.

The serial has been running successfully for more than a year now (from 22 July 2013 onwards). “Parasparam” is a family story directed by Sudheesh Shankar. He plays the role of the father of the hero Sooraj in this teleserial. The serial has made him very popular among the television audience, who loves him for the kind of fatherly role he plays in this serial. He has acted in several other serials as well.
