Gomathy Mahadevan is an Indian actress who works primarily in the Malayalam film industry. She is the sister of the legendary Malayalam actor, late M. S. Thripunithura.
She made her acting debut in the Malayalam action thriller, Lelam (1997), where she plays the role of Janamma Monichan. Directed by Joshiy, this film received mostly positive reviews from the audience. She then got cast in a Malayalam feature film, Sayahnam (2000), by debutant director R. Sarath. This family comedy-drama is directed by Linson Antony, and it follows the story of a police constable who finally gets married to a girl, despite numerous rejections in the past.
Gomathy also bagged a role in a Malayalam TV series, Pournamithinkal (2019- ), aired on Asianet daily.
