When Punnya Pradeep was two years old, she lost her father. After that, she suffered a lot in her life. At the age of five, she sang at Ganamelas to support her mother in financial needs. Also, her father’s family threw Punnya Pradeep along with her sister and mother out of the house after her father's death. From then, her mother began doing small random jobs to take care of her and her sister. Her mother sold her last piece of gold to buy Punnya Pradeep a music player. At a very young age, Punnya Pradeep developed a penchant for music. When she was little, she used to sit with her neighbor during the latter's music classes. From those classes, she learned the basics of classical music. Later, she began attending Ganamelas. But her life turned after her mother’s second marriage. Listeners are taken to a world of unadulterated joy by Punnya Pradeep’s amazing blend of catchy melodies, soulful voice, and rhythmic beats. 

“Amma," one of her famous songs, shows that how she can generate strong emotions with her music. She has created a varied repertoire of songs, in addition to the song "Amma,” that connect with audiences. Audiences liked her songs combine modern pop elements with traditional Indian, which produce a distinctive sound.
