is an Indian filmmaker who is yet to make his directorial debut in the Malayalam show business. He was born on 26th September 1985 in Thrissur, Kerala. He is the son of veteran director Sathyan Anthikad, who has helmed movies like “T. P. Balagopalan M.A.” (1986), and “Thooval Kottaram” (1996). Anoop graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Computer Science from St. Thomass College in Thrissur in 2005 and completed his masters in the same course from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu in 2007. He worked as a project engineer at Wipro for two years before quitting his job in 2009 to follow in his father’s footsteps.
He enrolled in the National Institute of Design, where he mastered the art of Film and Video Communication. He began his career in filmmaking as an associate to film director & producer,
. He apprenticed under Jose’s wing for five movies, including the award-winning documentary “A Dream Called America” (2011) before deciding to direct one of his own. His upcoming movie is in its filming stages and is already spreading good vibes with its star cast of Shobana,
