Gayatri does some private albums for ‘Art of Living Foundation’ which is run by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Bengaluru. In this connection, she also has released an album for the foundation in September 2006. This album was released by musical company HMV worldwide. The singer has undergone training in Carnatic music and Hindustani music from classic vocalists like Pandit Vinayak Malharrao Torvi and a versatile vocalist, Dr. Alka Deo Marulkar. She showed a lot of promise as a singer but could not quite take her career to the next level. Like some of her peers, she was unable to get the leading music directors to help in her career.
