A director or a hero can never make a blockbuster movie. It all need a good storyline to direct a plot and a commendable screenplay. Then only a great movie comes out and entertains the audience. The one who made some blockbusters stories and turned into all time remembering movies in Malayalam Film Industry is Benny P Nayarambalam. Benny P Nayarambalam is a Malayalam screenwriter for both film and the theater. He was born in Nayarambalam area of Ernakulam district in Kerala, India. He had a fascination for writing from his childhood. He studied Malayalam literature and continued with framing the stories and trying to make them into plays and movies. He married Falja, and they have two children Anna Ben and Susanna Ben.

Benny P Nayarambalam made the first theatrical play at the age of 19. He titled it as Athyunnathangalil Deivathunu Sthuthi and also enacted a role in it. Benny P Nayarambalam penned the plotline for the 1992 film First Bell. This movie stars Jayaram and Anusha. But the plots inside the plot made the audience a bit disappointing in the theaters. He had a long list of movies for which he contributed either as a screenplay or writer or screenwriter like Keerthana in 1995, Manthramothiram in 1997, Thaha direction Five Star Hospital, Grama Panchayat, Vinayan creation Aakasha Ganga, etc. For the 1993 movie Koushalam, Benny P Nayarambalam too contributed. T S Mohan directed the movie, and the special aspect about this film is that actor Siddique appears in the major role.

In 2002, Kunjikoonam came out as a movie. This flick is an added advantage for Benny because the story is the adaptation of Benny P Nayarambalam's work Vikalanga Varsham. Sasi Shankar directed the movie, and Dileep, who played the role of Kunjan, received Asianet Film Award for the Best Actor Award, and Navya Nair is the lead actress. This movie became so famous that it became the adopted versions of a Tamil and Kannada film. Later in yet another film Chanthupottu in 2005, Benny gave a sensational hit to the Malayalam Film Industry. Because of its different storyline about a boy raised in a women style, this gave relief from the mundane stories for the people. Lal Jose is the director, and Dileep, Lal, Bhavana, etc. starred in the lead roles. This movie is also the adaptation of the play Arabikkalum Adbudavilakkum written by Benny P Nayarambalam.

Benny P Nayarambalam entered the film industry as a writer, and he reached heights in that field. His notable films include Majaa in 2005, Chotta Mumbai in 2007, Lollypop in 2008, Bhaiyya Bhaiyya in 2014. He is currently working for the 2016 movie Welcome to Central Jail.
