Shibu Baby John

Shibu Baby John is a politician, businessman, and film producer from the Malayalam film industry. He was born on 27 July 1963. His father is Baby John, a former Revolutionary Socialist Party leader. His mother is Annama Baby John. His spouse is Annie Baby John, a civil engineering graduate. Shibu graduated in engineering from Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering, Kollam. Shibu started his career in the export business and later moved to politics. In 2001, he contested the election from the Chavara constituency for the Revolutionary Socialist Party and won the elections.

Shibu contested from the same constituency for decades. In 2005, he left the Revolutionary Socialist Party and founded his own Revolutionary Socialist Party(Baby John). In 2011, Shibu became the Minister for Labour and Employment of Kerala. In 2014, both the parties(Revolutionary Socialist Party and Revolutionary Socialist Party- Baby John) merged, and he became a National Committee member of the Revolutionary Socialist Party. In 2023, he was elected as the secretary of the Revolutionary Socialist Party Kerala State Committee.
