. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan's father's name is K. P. Parameswaran Pillai and his mother's name is M. G. Gourikutty. Born as Radhakrishnan in the year 1949 at Thiruvanchoor area of Kottayam, he had been addressed as Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan completed his Bachelor's degree in Law from Government Law College at Thiruvananthapuram and also worked as an advocate. Radhakrishnan was the Home Minister in the ministry of Oommen Chandy. He won the MLA seat from Kottayam constituency and had been the MLA from 2012 to 2014.
Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan's wife's name is Lalithambika, who is a retired Bank employee of Punjab National Bank. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan has two sons and a daughter, Anupam Radhakrishnan, Arjun Radhakrishnan and  Athira Radhakrishnan, respectively.
