Pathrose Ayyaneth, alias P. Ayyaneth, was a Malayalam-language novelist, short story writer, and poet from Kerala, India. He was born in 1928 in Nariyapuram, Pathanamthitta, Kerala. Pathrose Ayyaneth did his graduation in mathematics. Moreover, he also studied law. He entered the field of literature with a poem titled Parimalam. Pathrose Ayyaneth wrote this poem when he was just 15. He has written over 40 novels, 10 short story collections, and a few plays and articles. Many films have been made on the stories in her novels. His widely read and popular novels include Manushya Nee Mannakunnu, Thiruseshippu, and Vazhvemayam. Pathrose Ayyaneth died on June 17, 2008, due to a road accident.
