Sudhakar Mangalodayam, also known as Sudhakar P. Nair, was a well-known Indian dialogue writer and screenplay writer. Sudhakar was known for his predominant contribution to the Malayalam television and film industry. Sudhakar is also known for his significant work in the field of Malayalam literature. Mangalodayam was born on 14 January 1956. His place of birth is Velloor, Kerala. Sudhakar was born to Parameswaran Nair and Janaki amma. Sudhakar has done his schooling at the St. Ignatius School, Kanjiramattom. Sudhakar further did his graduation from the NSS College, Ottapalam. His journey to become a successful writer began with radio plays. After that, he worked with many notable directors and producers, including P. Chandrakumar. Sudhakar rose to fame in the 1980s when his novels got serialized in a weekly magazine in Kottayam. Some of his works include Thillana, Amma, Namam Japikkunna Veedu, Oodappirappu, Nandini Oppol, Murappennu and many more. Sudhakar is married to Usha and has a daughter named Srividya. Sudhakar died on the 17th of July 2020.
