She has just completed her final year of college and is working towards establishing herself in the film industry.

After having completed her schooling from Holy Angels' ISC School, Trivandrum, she went to M.O.P.Vaishnav College in Chennai, for her degree course. Scoring well in SSLC examination and PUC examination, she proved there is more to her than good looks.

Ahaana was always part of cultural shows at her institutes. During one such show, she was offered to model for an advertisement film promoting Vedika Sarees. Later her performance in advertising convinced Rajeev Ravi to cast her as the lead actress in his first film, Annayum Rasoolum but his offer was declined by Ahaana due to her busy academic schedule. Later Rajeev offered Ahaana his second directional venture and she agreed to join ‘Njan Steve Lopez’. After her debut film she remarked: "I am not in a hurry. If I get good offers, I will surely give it a shot. I am keeping my fingers crossed for my debut movie”. She is taking it slow nowadays and is currently busy in learning more about acting skills from various sources.
