South Indian Actresses Whose Debut Films Were Hits

Many stars enter the film industry and while some continue working in films the others just disappear from the limelight. 1. Sandhya

This actress shot to fame with her very first movie Kaadhal. Her natural acting was very much appreciated, and she went on to receive the Best Actress award from Tamil Nadu State Awards. After the success of her debut film, she went on to work in some Tamil and Malayalam movies. Now this chirpy actress is busy in Malayalam.

2. Shamitha

Shamitha’s first film was Cheran’s Pandavar Bhoomi, and she was very much appreciated for her spontaneous performance in the movie. But this talented actress didn’t continue to act in silver screen and eventually got her associated with TV serials.

3. Nikki Galrani

This gorgeous actress became famous with her debut Malayalam movie Premam (her first film to hit the screens though she had signed two films earlier). She had done such a great job in Premam and was embraced by the audience. Her other ventures Om Shanthi Om and Vellimoonga also were hits.

4. Ahaana Krishna

Njan Steve Lopez was the debut film of this star kid, she is the daughter of famous actor Krishna Kumar. She was lapped by the audience, especially the youth, for her stellar performance in the film.

5. Nisha Agarwal

This sweet actress is the sister of the already-established Kajal Aggarwal. Yemaindi Ee Vela (Telugu) was her introductory film, and the film was a commercial success. Her stint with Malayalam was also successful. Credit should be given to these stars who made a dream debut. Wish them all the best!
