Known for nailing the role of Manu Prathapan, Yuva Krishna is not just an actor but also a model and illusionist. Yuva Krishna was born on August 2 in Enjakkal in Trivandrum. Yuva Krishna hails from a family of artists, as his father is a Kathakali artist, and his mother is a music and dance teacher. He is the youngest sibling of three and has two sisters Nandhini, a government servant, and Nandita, an advocate, both being five and ten years older than him. So since childhood, Yuva Krishna wanted to become an actor. He completed his primary level of schooling from Holy Angels School in Trivandrum and studied in St. Joseph Secondary school till his tenth grade. Later, he enrolled in SVM Higher Secondary School for his higher classes.
Yuva Krishna finished his B.Sc degree in Physics with Computer Applications from Kariavattom Government College in Trivandrum. He joined the University of Kerala to pursue his MBA in H.R. and Marketing. Before venturing into serials, Yuva Krishna worked in Kochi International Airport for five to six months in the customer service department. Owing to the timing, he quit the job and joined a theme park in Thiruvananthapuram as an illusionist. He worked there for three and a half years and then left for Bangalore to take up modeling. He walked the ramp at several prestigious fashion shows and did many modeling assignments. In 2018, Yuva Krishna participated in the Next Models India pageant show. Along with the title of the winner, Yuva Krishna also grabbed the sub-award as Mr. Discipline.
Impressed by his work in the show, he got several offers, and one among them was the chance to play the lead in a Malayalam serial. After a set of auditions, Yuva Krishna got selected to play Manu Prathapan in the Mazhavil Manorama show
