Rajeev Govinda Pillai

Rajeev Govinda Pillai is a Malayalam fun actor. He was born on February 18, 1982, in Vallamkulam, Thiruvalla, Nannoor, Kerala, India. Since Nannoor is a small village he leads a very humble childhood. His father was an employee of Muscat while his mother worked as a Sanskrit teacher at National high school. Rajeev took his primary education from the same school where his mother taught. He did his pre-degree from NSS Hindu College, Changanassery. Rajeev then moved to KVG Dental College, Sullia, where he did his Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Before becoming an actor, he was practicing dentistry in a renowned hospital of Kerala. He then decided to master in his chosen field and migrated to London.

While studying there, he became fascinated with the glamor world and decided to pursue it. He returned to India and started working as a model. He walked for many acclaimed fashion designers and did several photo shoots. He also shifted to Mumbai and did some theatre work there. After gaining some experience in acting, he decided to tilt his focus on films. In 2011, he debuted in a movie named City of God. He played the character of Sony Vadayattil.
