Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair

Sreedharan Nair is an Indian Actor who works in the Malayalam Film Industry. He is popularly known as Kottarakkara. Sreedharan was born on the 11th of September in the year 1922. He is from Kottarakkara, Kerala. His father’s name is Padinjattinkara Korattiyode Narayana Pillai, and his mother’s name is Ummini Amma.

He had his schooling from Eswara Vilasam Higher Secondary School. He started working in dramas as an actor at the very young age of ten-years-old. Sreedharan married Vijayalakshmi Amma. Sreedharan and Vijayalakshmi had eight children together. Sreedharan bagged the Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actor in the year 1969 for the film “Kootthukudumbam.” And Best Actor in the year 1970 for the film “Ara Nazhika Neram.” Sreedharan died on the 19th October 1986 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Sreedharan died at the age of 64 years.
