Son of the late actor Thilakan, Shammi Thilakan is one of the more versatile actors in the Malayalam movie industry having nearly 30 years of experience as an actor, and as a dubbing artist. He is the recipient of the State Award for Best Dubbing Artist for lending his voice to Nassar in the movie Gazal  in 1993. He also lent his voice for Napoleon in the movie Devasuram.
Shammi Thilakan began his career in 1986, having to work under the shadow of his immensely talented father Thilakan. However, through his quality work and his extremely professional attitude, he has made a name as prominent as his father in the movie industry. His debut was in the 1986 movie directed by K.G. George, Irakal where he performed a supporting role. His acting and skill soon got him noticed and he then began to see a wide variety of roles being offered.
From Jathakam in 1989 to Ottayal Pattalam in 1992, to Thalastaanam and Dhruvam, and Rajakeeyam to Boxer, Sargavasantham, Kaathil Oru Kinnaram to Sulthan Hyderali, Lelam and Bhoopathi Ezhupunna Tharakan & Pathram, Shammi has had over 20 hits in the 1990’s. 
His career took a massive boost from the year 2000 onwards, from where he has completed over 42 movies in the nearly 15 years since, with the total number of movies being made being over 70. Some of his other hits include Praja, Phantom, Kasthuriman and Housefull.
 In 2013, he was also awarded the TTK Prestige – Vanitha Film Awards for Best Comedian for his roles in Neram  and Sringaravelan.
His roles have been varied and interesting, from dark, negative characters that evoke strong emotion, to comedy that usually leaves the audience in stitches. Shammi has truly evolved into a strong and proficient actor stepping out from under his father’s shadow and carving a niche for himself.

Saiju Govind Kurup, known for his screen name as Saiju Kurup in the film world. Saiju was born in Aroor Kerala ion 1981 and he is currently a busy actor in the Malayalam industry. He made his debut in the ever hit classic movie Mayoogham directed by the famous director Hariharan. He played the character Unni who was a rebel. The opposite lead to Saiju was Mamta Mohandas .He got two awards for his acting in the movie Mayoogham. The best new comer Bharatan awards and film city awards.   Saiju was working in Birla company there he met his better half Anupama and then both joined in Airtel company. Saiju and Anupama later decided to marry and the couple had a beautiful girl child. He was the direct Sales manager in Airtel. At that time he met the famous singer M G Sreekumar who later introduced him to Hariharan. Mayoogham was a hit and for the memory of his first movie the couple named their daughter as Mayoogha.   Saiju then acted on many films in lead roles, negative roles, supporting roles etc. Some of his movies were box office hits like Munnariyippu, Baba Kalyani, Mulla, Makeup Man, Trivandrum Lodge etc. His role in Mulla was quite different both in looks and attitude. Shankar Panicker

Shankar Panicker is a popular Malayalam and Tamil actor and Director. He is considered to be one of the most prolific and important romantic Superstars of the 80’s, following closely behind Prem Nazir. He has even been mentioned as the ”True Romantic Hero of Mollywood”, by the Galatta Cinema magazine in their special edition focussing on the 100 years of cinema.    Born in 1957, in the city of Thrissur in Kerala, Shankar’s family relocated to Chennai when he was 4, and he then proceeded to complete his schooling from St. Beed’s High School, and his college from Gadwarl University in Rishikesh. He then pursued a 2 year acting course from the South India Film Chambers of Acting.   Close on the heels of his immense success in his Tamil debut, Oru Thalai Raagam, Shankar was then signed by the Navodaya banner to star in their romantic movie, Manjil Virinja Pookkal. Then he was married to Chitra lakshmi in 2013, who was a dance teacher. In 1980’s Shankar went for the auditions of oruthalairagam. He was one among hundreds of newcomers giving audition for Oru Thalai Ragam, but he was selected as the lead actor. Finally the movie was a super hit and completed 365 days in theatres and Shankar became very popular with this achievement. . He was the second superstar of Malayalam films of 80’s after late action star “Jayan”.Navodaya banner signed him for their romantic film Manjilvirinjapookal which made Shankar leading young star of Malayalam films.
