Born in 1982, Fahadh Faasil is known for his works in Malayalam cinema. He is the son of renowned Malayalam director Fazil. He debuted in the Malayalam film industry during the year 2002 in his father’s film Kaiyethum Doorath. Unfortunately, his status as star kid didn’t help him and the film bombed at the box office. He was 18-year old then and the audience didn’t accept the image of a chocolate boy with a mustache.

Fahadh was not seen in films for around 7 years. But behold.. he indeed returned only to be accepted by the audience. He had a bald head, but that only favored him, since it provided a professional look. He did a film Kerala Café in the year 2009, in which his role was applauded. Films including 22 Female Kottayam, Chappa Kurishu, Diamond Necklace, North 24 Kaatham etc. gave him the much-needed stardom. Currently, Fahadh is working on many films.

Fahadh Faasil is one of the new breed of actors, who bring the label “New Generation Movies” to the limelight. He was tagged for acting in many kissing scenes, but that didn’t prove to be an obstacle in his career. Within a short span of 3 years Fahad has given many hits and this has made him a star to reckon with in Mollywood. In fact, he is considered to be the Youth Icon of Malayalam film industry.

Fahadh had won the Filmfare award for Best Actor for the film 22 Female Kottayam. He was also recognized by Asiavision Movie Awards, Vanitiha Film Award, Kerala State Award and Asianet Film Award. During the year 2014, when he had already tasted success in Malayalam film industry, he entered into wedlock with actress Nazriya Nazim.
