Anoop SG

Anoop SG is a senior editing manager for Promos with Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited. The editor from Kerala has been working for Zee Kerala since 2018, managing the promotional department of the channel on his own.

Anoop forayed into editing after earning a professional diploma in advanced multimedia in video editing. In 2006, he joined Media City in Trivandrum as a video editor. After working for about seven years with the company, he served as a video editor with Seashell Media, Dubai. After that, he switched to Mathrubhumi.com in Dubai.

In 2015, he returned to India to work with Flowers TV in Cochin in the same capacity. After working there for over three years, he joined his current job with Zee Entertainment.

The acclaimed video editor was born on May 29, 1988, to Sasidharan M and Geethambika. Anoop, who has over twelve years of experience as a video and promo editor in films and television shows, has executed video promos, events, plays, and shows for television channels like Asianet, Doordarshan, Kairali, Surya, and Suvarna.

While working with Mathrubhumi television, he edited Tanu Balak’s advertisement. He also has the credit of working on fifty-two episodes and promotional videos for National Television. Besides working with various channels, he has video edited films and film promos for different agencies.

His exceptional work in his chosen field has won him numerous accolades. The Malayalam video editor has bagged awards like the Best National editor Award 2010 at the 14^th Children’s Educational Film Festival and 2012 Kerala State Educational Film Festival.

In 2018, Anoop secured the Promax Award at Zee Keralam, Launch Ident, and in 2020 at Zee Keralam Onam Ident. He also has to his credit other honors like Best Themed Campaign, Best Brand Image, and Most Outstanding Marketing Initiative by Promax India Regional Awards 2021 for Women’s Day Promo. He also bagged the Best Children’s Promo for the Independence Day Campaign at the same event.

The remarkable editor is proficient in software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Edius, Nuendo, Final Cut Pro, etc.
