Anoop Surendran, a video editor originally from Sreekaryam, schooled at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Trivandrum, and SNGHSS, Chempazhanthy. He pursued his bachelor’s in English or arts at Govt. Arts College, Trivandrum. Later, he learned non-linear editing at the Centre for Development of Imaging Technology.
Surendran worked as a video editor with Mathrubhumi Television. Later, he joined Flowers TV in Kochi. In 2018, he switched to News18 Kerala, where he serves as a senior video editor.
The video editor is known for the Flowers TV show Kuttikkalavara, premiered in 2015. The Malayalam show is a children’s cookery series hosted by Muthumani. However, the show is not restricted to cooking and offers a lot of entertainment with children interacting with celebs.
Anoop married his wife Yamuna Thapi in 2013 and has a daughter, Vyga Anoop.
