DJ Savyo

DJ Savyo is a DJ, performer and producer from Cochin, Kerala. He was born in 1995, and is the first and youngest DJ in Bollywood, to make it successful from that state. He rose to fame with his remix of "Jo Tere Sang", which was a track from the movie, Blood Money. DJ Savyo further went on to remix and produce an entire album with Saregama records called ' Nostalgia Sanjana a classical dancer living in Mumbai with h >> Read More... '. This album included old evergreen Malayalam film songs, hence the name 'Nostalgia', to which he put his own twist. It became the top 2 in Kerala's top selling album charts and presently, still in the top 2.

He is also part of a band called Free Formation. Free Formation creates a fusion of EDM music, along with an assortment of Indian musical instruments like the tabla, harmonium, sitar and so on, mixed with various western musical instruments such as guitar, percussion, violin and keyboard.

He was made the official DJ for the Kochi Tuskers Kerala in season 4 of the Indian Premier League, and performed for them throughout. He also produced the cheering tune for the Kochi Tuskers Kerala, which gave them an identity. He won the South Indian War of DJ 2005-2006, organized by Manipal Hotel Management.

He was the official DJ for the Bacardi Together Mix and Kingfisher Beer. He also performed for Smirnoff Experience and Bacardi Night Shift. He is also the DJ for a reality TV show called Superstar Dancers Show, managed by the channel, Amrita TV. It is presently on the top 1 for viewer's choice all over Kerala.

Other than this, he has worked as an in-house DJ for many hotels and resorts including Club Mahendra Munnar, Dream Hotel, Taj Malabar, and Leela Palace.
