Adel Abdul Aziz

Adel Abdul Aziz is a DJ known by the name DJ AD5. Abdul Aziz and Ajitha Abdul Aziz are his parents, and he has a brother, Fadel Abdul Aziz. He was born in Kerala and brought up in Saudi Arabia. He did his degree at SDV College, Alappuzha. He developed his interest in Djing when he was in college. One of his friends had a DJ Console at his home. After seeing the console, Adel’s dream to become a DJ got revived. He learned the DJ basics from his friend. After knowing his interest, his parents gifted him a DJ Console. Within six months, he learned everything needed for a DJ. His first opportunity came through his cousin, Sharook Shahul, who studied at Punnappara Engineering College, Alappuzha. After DJing at the college, Adel’s confidence doubled, and he started his DJ career. Rohit Chacko, one of his best friends, introduced Adel as an artist. Adel shared the workspace with Ajay Job Shaji, which honed his skills and took his career on the right path.

Adel’s dream was to DJ in London. Meanwhile, he lost Rohit Chacko, who introduced him. Besides this, some personal issues made him pause his career. After a hiatus, he went to Turkey to DJing. Gradually, he regained his confidence and established an entertainment company, AD5’s Entertainment, with his friends as partners. It is an event-based company that works as a platform for many people to show their talents.

Soon, Adel went to his dreamland, the UK, for a music tour with his team. His hard work over six years made him famous as a DJ. He is the first DJ from Kerala to perform in the UK’s Sheffield. Besides being a DJ and music producer, he is a music director cum lyricist. He penned two songs, Move On & Close To Me, co-written by his friend, Job Adam. These songs received colossal appreciation and were viewed over 2 million times on YouTube.

Adel Abdul Aziz, or DJ AD5, is an aspiring musician and DJ player in the Mollywood film industry. He is widely known as a freelance DJ among the Malayali audience. He was born to his parents, Abdul Aziz and Ajitha Abdul Aziz, in Kerala and grew up in Saudi Arabia. He completed his high school education at St. Mary Residential Central School, Alappuzha, in 2016 and got his Bachelor’s in Commerce (Travel and Tourism) from SDV College, Alappuzha.

Later, he got his Masters in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Sheffield Hallam University in 2023 and worked in the logistics industry for a few years. Adel Abdul Aziz started his musical career as a DJ by performing at Punnapra Engineering College, Aleppey, and went on to host concerts in Sheffield, U.K., while studying. He performs in various worldwide and has a huge fan base. Apart from working as a DJ, he is also a talented music director and lyricist and has released two songs with his friend, Job Adam. He is also an entrepreneur and started his record label production company, AD5’s Entertainment, to encourage aspiring artists.
