Silk Route was a Malayalam TV show that aired on the channel, Flowers TV in the year 2019. The show, Silk Route, featured the various kinds of top quality silk available throughout India. The focus was mainly on silk sarees. Silk sarees of various kinds were displayed. Since silk is mostly used to make sarees, the different ways of pairing a saree with accessories were described. Silk cloth from Banaras, Mysore and other historical places were shown. Although the show isn’t aired anymore, one can watch the episodes on YouTube. Each episode was about twenty minutes long.
