Vinod Krishna was born on 31 December 1975 in Patna, Bihar. He is a famous Filmmaker and Writer of the Malayalam Film Industry. Vinod has completed his schooling from Bihar Board and graduated in Film Studies at Calicut University. Vinod writes Short Stories in Malayalam Literature cinema. His best-known work and debut movie was Elam, which won the Best International Film Award at the Golden State International Film Festival in Bayamon Int Film Festival Puerto Rico. Vinod was the first person to work on the Poetry Installation in the world, which he did in Kochi and Trivandrum.
Vinod has directed the Short Movie Mayyankkalam, which screened at the Toronto Activist Film Festival, The World Water Forum, and The World Social Forum held in Mumbai. He has written the Novel 9mm Beretta based on Gandhi's Murder, a bestseller from DC Books, and won the TKC Vaduthala Award. He has also written short stories like Kannusoothram and Urumba Desam.
