M. Krishnan Nair was an Indian film director, who primarily worked in the Malayalam industry. He was born on 2nd December 1926 and passed away on 10th May 2001 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He was one of the few people whose experience and work speak for themselves. With directing over a hundred Malayam Movies, he did not refrain from working in the Tamil industry. M. Krishnan Nair directed about 18 Tamil movies.
In 1955, he debuted with the Malayam movie, CID, and he didn’t stop after that. Khadeeja (1967), Yamini (1973), Tara(1970), Amma (1976), Paalam (1983) are some of the movies directed by him. The last movie directed by him was Kalam Mari, Katha Mari, in the year 1987. M. Krishnan Nair got married to K. Sulochana Devi, and they have three offsprings. In the year 2000, M. Krishnan Nair was awarded the J.C Daniel Award.
