Anoop Kannan is an Indian director and producer who predominately works in the Malayalam Film Industry, Mollywood. Anoop was born Moovattupuzha, Ernakulam, in the southern state of Kerela. The 2002 blockbuster movie ‘Meesa Madhavan,’ where he worked as an assistant director, marked the beginning of his career. Later, in 2007, he worked as an associate director in the famous filmmaker Ranjith’s Malayalam movie ‘Kaiyoppu.’ He made his directorial debut in 2012 with the film ‘Jawan of Vellimala’ with Mammootty as the producer.
