Sudha Sumithran is an Indian actor. She was born on June 11, 1961. In 2019, she played the role of Sister Grace in the Malayalam short film called “Aavruthi”, which won the best film award at IFFT-Orange film festival. She also acted in 2023 Indian Malayalam-language thriller film “Purusha Pretham”, based on police procedural story having interesting twists and turns. In 2023, she played the role of Ambika Devi in the Malayalam television show “Gouri Sankaram.” It is a story of a girl named Gouri, a college girl whose life takes a turn after she enters wedlock with Sanker, an obsessive and die-hard lover. Gouri is a girl of principles taught by her father. On the other hand, Sankar is just the opposite of her. He follows his principles in life and makes his own decisions. The show takes a new twist when Sankar falls in love with Gouri and starts making efforts to make her his wife. The serial has also been adapted into Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.
