Pramod Maravante

Pramod Maravante is an Indian lyricist and writer who primarily works in the Kannada film industry. He studied mechanical engineering at NITTE Engineering College in Mangaluru, India. He used to sing popular Kannada songs for his friends and family, write as a hobby, and post his writings on social media. He participated in a Kannada reality TV show that gave new writers a chance to write lyrics for popular Kannada songs.

His first song as a lyricist was Chanda Chanda Nan Hendthi, and after the success of the song, he decided to write lyrics full-time. He gained huge popularity with the song Singara Siriye from the superhit film Kantara. As of now, Pramod has worked as a lyricist on over 150 songs, and many of them have become superhits and have garnered him big appreciation and love from the public.
