Hema Bellur

Hema Bellur is a Kannada actress known mostly for playing lead role in Rustum was released in 2001. It was helmed by Om Saiprakash and Hema shared the screenspace with Jaggesh. It was of the comedy genre.

Hema Bellur is a theatre artist, too. She was born in Belluru. Her father is an engineer, and her mother is a homemaker. Hema completed her schooling at Gnyana Jyothi Education Center School. She holds a Diploma in Airlines Travel And Tourism Management. She owns an ice cream and cake outlet, Wickets, in Bangalore. Hema is married to producer Vardhan Hari and has a daughter.

In 1999, Hema debuted on the silver screen with “Vishnuvardhan” starrer Suryavamasha. The same year, Hema was seen in a small role in Shiva Rajkumar and Ramesh Aravind starrer Hrudaya Hrudaya. In 2000, she played in the film Kiladi. The next year, she was seen in Vaalee with “Sudeep” and Poonam Singar. The same year, she shared the screen space with Tiger Prabhakar and Ragasudha in Mysore Huli. In 2001, Hema worked in “Manvantara,” directed by TN Seetharam. She shared the screen space with Malavika Avinash. In 2003, Hema was seen in Dumbee, directed by Adarsh.

In 2004, Hema played the lead role in the ETV Kannada series, “Malebillu.” MN Jayanth directed the series, and TN Seetharam produced it. Hema shared the screen space with Veena Sundar, Shilpa Iyer, Huliwan Gangadhariah, Anil Kamath, and Padma Kumta in this series. In 2013, Hema worked in “Charanadasi,” an ETV Kannada series. In 2018, Hema was seen in the Colors Kannada series Seetha Vallabha with Akarsh Bairamudi, Jaganath Chandrashekhar, and Supritha Sathyanarayana. In 2020, Hema played an important role in Nannarasi Radhe with Abhinav Vishwanthan, Kaustuba Mani, and Sihi Kahi Chandru. She was also the executive producer of this series. In 2022, Hema’s husband produced Mithuna Raashi. In 2023, Hema and her husband produced the series Tripura Sundari.

Hema worked in Gange Gowri, a Udaya TV series with Darschandrappa, Srividya Shastri, Renuka Bali, and Darshini Gowda. It is produced by Hema’s Vriddhi Creation. In 2025, Hema and Vardhan Hari produced the trilingual movie The Rise Of Ashoka. Sathish Ninasam plays the lead role.
